I have tried western once but that was on holiday in cyprus with some crazy man and an old saddle that i think was to small for me and hurt me and i didn't enjoy it at all.

But i know it can't be bad so i want to have another go but this time with a sane person teaching me.

I part-loan a 15hh cob called william at the moment and we both do English.

So does anyone know of any places in the northwest of england that does western lessons
or any trainers?

Where abouts in the Northwest are you? Im in the noth west, Lancaster area. If you are interested there is a show at Accrington on the 15th of September at Croft |Top Farm, there will be some people to talk to and some nice horses to watch as well.

Trainers however our way get a bit harder to find, there are a few in Yorkshire, none of which I really rate, there is Scherie in Cheshire who is lovely, and is good for people coming over from English as she is also an Advanced Dressage rider.
