Never too much feedback. I appreciate your comments and look forward to your contributions.
I have had messages from other user, giving suggestions and advice and will act upon them accordingly.

Hi Reinman, thank you for taking the time to reply, As I have said, I do appreciate it. Your comment about it not becoming too technical is VERY valid. This was the very same comment from my 'nearest and dearest' when I was explaining the concept to her.
This was why I quickly changed the forum design to something simpler. You won't believe how many different classified ads systems I tried until I found the current format, which I think is extremely easy to use.
CatG's comment that the gallery has not been used is I fear partly because it is also a bit technical and I will try and make that easier too.
So from just a few feedback comments I now have some better direction as to how to proceed. I still want it to be class leading in terms of features but I will make sure that it is not at the expense of ease of use.
I'm always happy to receive your private messages on any subject relating to the site...

I tend to agree - I liked the orginal 'new' forum too, but this one is good now I've got used to it. I think it's a great site and the 'google' ratings proves it.
I have to admit though, that I tried to add some pictures to the gallery and was forced to give up. I'm fairly conversant with uploading graphics and don't normally have a problem. I will try again.

Now we have the simpler forum I actually prefer it. For me it is because in integrates with registration sysem better and also with the profiles. It is also being heavily developed which is a good sign of better things to come.
The Gallery is the best there is out there. It may seem a little confusing at first but it is quite simple to create your gallery.
1. select the user system from the photo menu or if you are already viewing a gallery.
2. select 'create new galleries etc.'. click the new gallery icon. Enter name of gallery (leaving the random directory name as is) and save. You have now created the gallery structure. 3. click back to 'main screen', select 'move, edit, delete, scan for media automatically or upload (multiple) new media manually'. select your new gallery and click 'upload files(s)'. You now have options to upload a compressed zip file of all your required photos (makes things quicker if you know how to do this), upload a number of files manually, drag and drop or scan a directory. The easy way in my opinion is drag and drop.
4. Simple select this option, open your picture folder on your local pc and drag and drop the images you want into the required box. then click upload.
click 'go back' and you have your gallery.
Once you have your basic gallery you can then go through renaming the images and inserting descriptions and generally editing the gallery.
give it a go...it's not so difficult.

The new site is first class. All credit to you for the obvious time and effort to achieve what you have here. I especially like the video clips. Only negative comment is that I find the events calender colours a bit bland - cold be clearer, but then that is probably just a matter of personal taste.

markrm, thanks. Do you mean that you find the text colour on the calendar too bland? Its grey and I could see that this could be a problem.
Not saying you have a problem. lol but I know from other programming experiences that some people are, to more or less a degree colour blind and some colours are just not visible to them, so your comments are very valid... I shall try and make a better contrast between the background and the text if this is the case.
