Hi there, Thanks again for everyone's advice on hats before! I have another question - thank god for this forum!
My QH, Shiny, is 2 now, and he is what I would describe in English terms as a bright Chestnut with a multicoloured tail and a red mane, but he has the scattering of red roan all over his belly and quarters. What would he be called in American/western terminology? I initially though he was a sorrel or a red roan, but I know you get red duns as well....?
I can email a clearer picture if anyone would be prepared to have a gander!
Thank you!

Hey Shiny,
send me a pic and pedigree and we'll try to sort you out - won't be a red dun unless there is a dun parent though. From your description we are talking red roan but lets look at the pedigree and pics and see...

Hello He is a sorrel with the rabicano gene but its very pronounced, he is by our Shiny Little Spark and out of Mistin Express, we get them quite often, some with abit of flecking, others it covers all of them! I couldnt remember if we told rachel, but he has got whiter as he has got older. Joanne
