I'd like some feedback on the performance of the video delivery on my new site, Thewesterntube.com. It seem to buffer the video a lot for me and I have a fast (supposedly) connection.

I wanted good quality video (those on site like youtube tend to be very poor) but perhaps I've over done it!

How is it for you!! :

It does seem to be buffering quite a lot, shame its a great video.

I had no trouble yesterday, it just ran straight through, as it did first thing this morning when I was showing someone it at work (about 8am), however, later, I did have trouble with it buffering

Was it on the same machine? Once downloaded the video does cache so subsequent views are not downloaded from the server but your hard drive which is much faster.

BTW this site is hosted in India...yes... Its has along way to travel ;D

No seriously... if this is a problem then I shall have to find another source or solution, (yes it's a lot cheaper from India but their support so far has been 100%)

It was the same machine at work, but I wasn't too worried as our pc's seem to go on a go slow around lunch time anyway, the database I have to use as part of my job has a go slow about 12 noon, which drives me mad! I think my PC at work has an issue that I don't take lunch breaks!

I tried it again a little later in the afternoon and had the same problem too, however, have just tried it again on my home pc and it runs fine.
