Before I go Nuts! 2007/07/25 21:53 Karma: 2
We are having a couple of days in Mexico City after our riding holiday in the middle of no where  and I might like to buy a few bits and pieces.  BUT I have spent all night looking for tack shops, saddles etc in Mexico City and can't find any.  Anybody got any ideas for what I should google for?  Please.

o, sorry Misty can't help with the shopping but just want to say have a fab time!

Meeting up with Karen at WES show tomorrow, sob, last time, before we move down Souf.

Have great holiday anyway.
An idea? If you have the address for where you are going to stay and have the time yet, can you shop for stuff in the US and have them shipped to the Mehican riding holiday address for you to collect? Or ring up the place you are staying and ask them for nearest shops?

Hi Misty, try searching tripadvisor.com, if you post there you'll get replies.

Thanks isabelph but we went in October! We actually were taken to two shops in Tula and got boots, one eared bridles (£6), a thing made from plastic table clothe material which hubby reckons he will use in the rain (it covers rider and horse, a whip, 'cos it will look good on the saddle, and a halter and hitching rope in one. We found two shops in Mexico City quite by chance but too difficult as don't know any Spanish! Was a great holiday.
