Hello! My name is Ronnie and I have just joined this web page. I have had my horse just over two years and I have yet to meet anyone in my area who rides western. However I do have a great instructor and he has given me so much confidence with my horse. (she is nearly seven) after all... the horse knows what to do, we are the ones that need to understand what they are trying to tell us. I had to start from scratch again as she had a few problems with trusting people even though her temprament was good. It has been a slow process and still on going but she is worth it, as she gives me so much more in return. If any one feels like a chat drop me a line. It would be good to hear of other peoples experiences with thier horses. Have a good weekend!

Hi Ronnie
welcome!!! This is a a great website for chatting to people and catching up on all western news.
Where abouts are you based? I am in Staffordshire, only recently started to meet people who ride western near too me. Good luck and enjoy your horse, who is your instructor?

Hi Claire... how nice to have a message. His name is Lewis Blackie and he is from Texas but he moved to the uk some time ago. He has worked on ranches so he is a real cowboy tee hee. If you want his web page just ask or look under lewis blackie on google. Very basic but he does a write up every month for a local horse mag ( also on his web) which is interesting and very informative. Ronnie

Hi Ronnie
Nice to meet you!
Can you post a link for your trainer? Can't find him when I googled like you said!
Will you be showing your horse off? It's a great way to meet people at shows - we find that we don't know anyone locally but at shows we get to catch up with all the news, have some fun with the horses and maybe take home a rosette!!
Joey
