It seems there were a few bugs in a new forum I installed last night so I have gone back to the old version...

Sorry to those who posted so you might like to repost.

The reason for the change was that the current forum will no longer be supported with the site software so I was looking for an alternative. There must be some conflict with something else on the site so until I can find the solution it's back with the old version.

Think I have solved part of the problems with this new forum but there is still an issue with login/out which I am investigating.

If anyone is experiencing problems with this new forum design, please let me know.

LOL i did wonder what was going on when i logged on last night and now my emoticons are all x out. Hope you manage to sort it as I wouldnt have a clue where to start.

Hi admin, have had few probs logging on - had to get new password as wouldn't remember me.... hope it wasn't personal!!

The whole site has now been moved away from it's original hosted service which had fallen behind the times and could not support the latest security features. Much of the site had to be updated (in particular the forum) to accommodate the security upgrade but it now means we are good for the foreseeable future.

There were a few hiccups in the move but hopefully I have found them all.

Please don't hesitate to report any problems you may find though.
