Madam wins the inaugural running of this for doing a mini rear with me in the nov rider western riding on the LAST lead change cos she thought the gallery was spooky. Aagh 5 point penalty!
Close run with the numerous horses in the nov horse western riding that spooked at the judge and refused to go over the log, and with the positive CARNAGE in the championship pleasure

I guess at least you can claim it was a novice class!!! Like you say not so convinced by the Championship pleasure or horsemanship for that matter!!!!

My horse at the last show of the year in the last class of the day where after doing my horsemanship pattern i was placed about second, just befor we were all pulled i had to over take the horse infront and she decided to let rip and bronco wasnt too fun, scared the judge a little, who was from american and at the end of the class said i should be a bronc rider but that even after that he still really liked my horse.

but oh my god i was fuming,

just wondering what happened in the championship pleasure

OOh let me see, four horses abreast at times, one or two getting squashed in the corner, one or two tantrums...
Luckily that's a normal day for madam who lives at a large and rather chaotic livery yard, so I'm not sure she even noticed

Phewee I wish I'd popped in to see THAT! The judge must have been breathing in sharply - as the third abreast in one of the go-rounds I could have sworn we could have nearly scooped up the judge !

Nothing like tantrums occurring at the higher levels to make us newbies feel soooo much better about our less-than-expert show performances!
