That is true. Just waiting for confirmation from AQHA as regards to my bookings. We still have two weeks to go!

I also need to know, as have booked a stable for the show, but mainly for the reining, I hope we are going to be notified soon,
as I was going to spend some time at a trainers ready for this show, so do not want to go to that expense if the classes are not on.
If the arena is not and will not be ready they must know by now.

As a memeber of BR council I have heard nothing of the reining classes at the breed show being cancelled, nor any information about the ground not being ready.
As far as I can tell at this point in time this is all speculation and hearsay.
I like many people out there have booked my stables and made my entries, so my only advice is that everyone waits untill an official statement that these classes have indeed been cancelled is released by either BR, AQHA-UK or the show managers.
As I do not wish to have any more phone calls from disgruntled members after a pound of flesh!

I just got this email today:

Nathan here (Tracy's husband) - due to stress related illness I have taken over from Tracy and am fielding queries on her behalf.

I'm afraid it is true that all reining classes have been pulled from the Breed show. This is because there will be no reining arena.

There will be an official announcement put out tomorrow confirming this.

So now we wait or the official announcement, but I for one have been working on changing all my plans as of today.

I just wanted to say well done to Tracey for all that she has arranged for this show under very trying circumstances - the arena being unfinished is entirely out of her hands - the extreme flooding has contributed in no small way to this situation - the contractors who are doing this surface are booked to do another near me and are way overdue owing to the loss of so many weeks.

The organisation of any show is a huge task, and usually a fairly thankless one so with disappointment running high over this setback I just felt it was appropriate to say a quick thank you!!

Hear hear - a real shame that the arena will not be ready - but i hope many of you will still support the show!
