Can't help but agree regarding the lack of reining surfaces especialy indoor arenas. So much so that I built my own purpose built for reining. It is 300X130 and although I am not a commercial enterprise, I do want to make this available to other reiners who are desperate to find somewhere to practice without the cost of expensive one hour lessons. Check out WES area 8 for self help clinics etc. come ride all day if you want and share and help each other.
Come slide on by.

It might be worth noteing that according to the new legislation sanctioned by the BEF (governing body for all equestrian sport in the UK) that within the next 8 years ONLY sand or woodfibre surfaces will be legal in the UK due to problems of toxins leaching into the groundwater via the arenas drainage. If you are considering building an arena it is essential that you should check regulations.

Sounds great Reinman. Are you able to hire it out? Good access and parking etc?
Where abouts are you...you profile has not been updated!

I am based near Paddock Wood, Kent. Not far from Bodium. I will hire out my arena but mainly for individuals, groups of friends etc., not for shows as we run our own for WES. There are regular 'self help' clinics here, once again please see WES website. There is great parking in a tarmac yard or we have lots of parking on grass. Clean modern tea/restroom with modern toilets and just being built now covered washdown rack and tacking up racks too. New round pen just been installed. Additionally we have a full Olympic sized dressage arena well suited to 'pleasure - horsemanship - trail type riders as well. We are surrounded by orchards and this time of year the whole place is smothered in fragrant apple blossom.
