What an outrageous comment to make !!
Would that have made you happy ?
Bruce has trained my horses for years and taken every one to the top, the latest Dots Star King who is the only Senior Reining horse in the UK to qualify for the 2007 AQHA World Show.
I have been to a lot of clinic's in my time
some trainer's i like, some i don't but one thing i can tell you is i respected them all!

yes of course it would make me wildly happy. NO, for those who knew my old horse they would understand what i meant there, it bucked like stink, didnt like most men to being with and if you pushed it too far would almost throw its self on the floor.

I dont understan why suddenly everyone is like anti me just becasue i am not particularly into Bruces training, i have no hate for the guy think he is a lovely person but his particular way of training does not suit me and didnt suit my own horse.

Hey its best to keep opinions to yourself sometimes, this applys to the wider world too!! best to remember the old addage a still tongue in a wise head.. there are good number of good trainers in this country so you dont have go to one you dont feel you or your horse can get on with, what works well for one person may not for you, good luck and keep learning....

I have also been to clinics with some trainers that I felt were not what I wanted, but then I talked to others on that clinic and they loved it!! Each to his/her own, I just would choose not to attend that particular trainers clinics in the future but would support anyone who did.

We are very lucky to have so many clinics to choose from lately and some great trainers.

This is the first time that I have ever contributed to an on-line discussion – but felt moved to give my perspective after reading the comments yesterday evening. In my opinion Bruce Lawrence is a first-class trainer – of both horses and people. His communications skills are excellent and as a result my horse and I have achieved an awful lot since my first clinic with Bruce in 2003. Recently a young friend of ours had two lessons with Bruce and declared them the best she had ever had in her entire riding career – and this is a young lady who has done extremely well in English ridden classes. I count myself as extremely fortunate to have found ‘my trainer’ and I have, do, and will continue, to recommend Bruce to others. Let’s all appreciate what we have and be considerate of others’ feelings
