Just a quick report on the Dutch/Belgain combined Reining show in Oirschot.

We had Billy entered in the Belgain and Dutch novice horse (Pee Wee should have been showing but he was lame just before the show). Anyway Billy put in some nice clean runs, showing us that he has real potential. Other british riders included Dawn Heaton, Robert Reader and Alison Bucknel.

At an international level riders included Grischa Ludwig, Rudi Kronsteiner, Bernard Fonk, Rieky Young, Jan Boogerts and Ann Fonck-Poels. All of these gave a real show in the open event on Thursday night with Bernard and Rieky tying for first place in the open. The show was really exciting to watch and was very well organised. I will upload some footage of the show onto the Western Tube.

There is a free live feed of the AQHA World Show on www.aqha.com then click on the World Show. This show is on for another week or so.
