Have nice tack, have horse, now have the willpower!

In answer to the question about my Canada experience, I was lucky enough to get a lot of help and confidence from a chap called Carl Woods, near Kelowna in British Columbia. Carl reins an awful lot and also breaks horses that come up from the states to be used on working ranches. He mainly now does cutting clinics, this really was what I loved to do and I enjoyed learning to rope. Basically anything I wanted to try, Carl obliged, that included far too many Jack Daniels at lunch time!

It was a real eye opener, there was quite a clash to start, having to learn that these horses came in wild and were used for work and needed to be safe.

I flit back when I can now, or get a cellphone lesson when the time zones permit!

Well I have transport and am in Bournemouth, so there is no excuse not to start venturing out to meet you all!
