Hi When I lived in England I had a really nice Quarter Horse Della Duz Bounce. I thought she was the bees knees!
I now live in Wyoming and have learned a lot since being here. I now have a mountain bred Appaloosa cross Quarter Horse. For stamina he cannot be beaten. I bought him at 4 1/2 and he was hard work - still can be! But on the Outlaw Trail Ride I am a group Leader on he really gets praise. I have been in the saddle for 9 hours and covered 35 miles in the hardest country and he still is ready for more. We have had Quarter Horses however - usually muscled show horses that quit after about 12 miles. They also have foot problems because they have been bred for small feet. Grade Ranch Horses tend to the best all araound for this country. I also have a Paint "grade" horse.
The Outlaw Traile Ride still has vacancies
