I moved from West Yorks to Wyoming in 2003. I am now a group leader on the Outlaw Trail Ride – 120 miles across Wyoming in August. This year we have some spare places on the ride. This is really good value for Brits with the dollar being down. I have friend from Burnley coming over for the ride. I have ridden it 4 times now.
This a ride of a lifetime – we have rental horses available from Riverton at about $375 for the 6 days and the ride fee is $1100 fully catered. We have entertainment in the evenings although we can be 70 miles from the nearest tarmac. We have a Shoshone chief who talks about the history, we have a Northern Arapahoe who can ride like the wind bareback with only a piece of string in the horses mouth as they used to ride. We have clinics on the rest day, campfires and history. We have recent history in the Wild Bunch and ancient history in the Sioux Teepee rings dating back 1500 years
We get great people on the ride and get regular returnees. All you need to bring is clothes, tent, sleeping bag. Tack comes with the horse and these are all ranch horses from the Winfield Ranch. Darrell Winfield is the former Marlboro Man and his grandson, Kelly is a great clinician.
Guests can fly in to Cody where they will be collected from the Airport or if they choose to fly into Cheyenne I have 3 places in my truck to get to Thermopolis with a trailer load of horses.

This is not a novice ride – the horse will be fit and you need to be too, however we have riders from 16yrs to 85yrs come on this. This also an ideal time to buy tack to take home as White Horse give 10% to riders off some fantastic western tack
