I've never had Maria out to my horse, so can't comment on that, but she was extremely useful & valuable to me during the time i was looking for a new saddle. She is very knowledgeable and more then willing to offer as much help & advice as you need & want.

It may be an idea to get your trainer to take a look at your saddle. Most trainers see a wide variety of horses & will have knowledge of what fits & what doesn't. Trainers will also often know of second hand saddles around as they will have clients selling.

Have had experience of some other Western Saddle sellers and was totally unimpressed and sometimes horrified at what and how they fitted. I have done an English fitting course so have some idea, but some I've seen clearly have not done anything like a fitting course and some even subscribe to a Western Saddle fits anything club.

But Maria I would thoroughly recommend, she is a fitter, there was no pressure and an honest unbiased opinion was given, with explanations.

Have also observed her say that aspecial order did not fit as the horse had changed shape between fittings, a lot of others would not have said that!!!
