The television magazine programme FEI Equestrian world can now be seen on Sky Sports



The much anticipated television show, FEI Equestrian World has premiered on Sky Sports, and viewers can now tune in to the half hour programme once a month. Supported by Rolex, FEI Equestrian World focuses on the spirit of FEI disciplines as well as the lifestyles that surround them and also includes competitions and sports news.

The eleventh Pony of the Year Show (13th - 17 April 2006) will also be shown on Sky Sports. The television channel recorded a one hour programme on Monday 17 April which will be broadcast on Friday 28 April.

I think that people would find Reining a pretty exciting sport to watch on tv. Beats snooker anyway!

Not to mention Curling. What the hell is that all about? Cracked me up the first time I saw that in the Olympics. Little guy with a broom sweeping frantically. And some other guy launches a giant boulder at him! Meanwhile, little guy carries on sweeping, oblivious to the fact that there is this giant rock heading in his direction. And that gets airtime on tv?????

Correct me if I'm wrong, but do you not think there are more exciting spectator sports out there i.e. Reining?

I agree, reining would be an exciting spectator sport, whether you're in to Western Riding or not. Of course if they brought in curling on horseback that would be a different matter.....
