I used to have an Oakley 4 horse box - loved it to bits and would dearly love another. In the meantime I hire an Ifor Williams trailer from http://www.loctrailerhire.co.uk
Liz who runs the business is incredibly efficient and very helpful. The trailers are immaculate and if you want you can hire them for a season for much reduced rates.

thanks for your replies, Ash the goosenecks are awesome and would be very practical sadly our laws are different than in the US appynospot yes thats true.. first you need to aware of the max gross weight of the tow van ie the van and its load= sprinter is about 2.5 Ton as a van empty so can carry about 1 ton then you have the gross train weight
which is the van, its load and the trailer combined= sprinter is 6.3 tons... re tacograh you need one if your hauling as part of your business but not for private use except if your over 7.5 tons then you do...
