Just noticed you can now buy a lighter weight version and also a heavier weight version.
My only critique is that they rub my horses mane and i'd prefer a fixed neck cover. otherwise i'd be tempted to buy more!?

The wug Rambo's with the rolling necks which go up and over the withers in a semi circle are the only rug I buy now, for my stocky old anglo arab and my QH they are perfect and never rub on the neck or the chest. I think its always a question of sticking with what works for you.
I bought my old boy a rambo wug supreme last winter - he looks like a bl**die picnic table in it but he LOVES it and it keeps him so toasty!

Thanks. that is good to know. the lightweight i was looking at buying (as i want one with a fixed neck) is a rambo wug plus. but i was concerned about the 'wug' bit as i didnt know how it'd suit him. so thats helpful to know!
as a heavyweight i was looking at a rambo plus turnout with a fixed neck. but they are £170!
nothing worse than rugs that rub or slip though. so i'd rather pay that bit more and the horse be happy.

Really glad to be of help!!
They are expensive and its really annoying, but I have found that going for something cheaper, which doesnt last nearly as long and rubs, which you have to replace, works out just as bad in the long run.
I have got a local tack shop, which is usually expensive for most things, but in order to compete with online stores, they will pricematch on all Horseware rugs, which is brilliant, paid £130 for the wug supreme, and £39 for a lightweight turnout. If you have some local tackshops might be worth checking out their prices and if they will price match as you could save yourself some dosh!!
