if no one raises it and you want to discuss it you can raise it under any other business. Perhaps debate by the members instead of the politicians will show what people really want to do.

An interesting development at BEF recently:

World Horse Welfare (formally ILPH) have had their applicaton for admittance to the BEF blocked because as an organisation they are too simmilar to an organisation that is already a member which is BHS. Both both have responsiblities towards horse welfare.

RM.

The British Equestrian Federation today confirmed it's bid for funding from Sport England to be channelled into the member bodies (i.e. British Reining) was confirmed at 17.3 million pounds over the next four years.

Is it not correct to say that UK SPORT has allocated £13.6 Million for Olympic Sport and £3.7 Million FOR Paralympic Sport? Thus none of this can be allocated to a non-Olympic sport such as Reining.

As usual RA is totally out in the wilderness with his 'MISS-infomation'

I can categorically state that over the past nine months or so I have been totally involved in the presentation and negotiation of British Reining's proposals for our portion of this funding. IT IS NOT FOR OLYMPIC DISCIPLINES ONLY. That is categoric.

I hope to soon be able to release a statement regarding EXACTLY what benefits British Reining will benefit from this new funding.

I have an Chief Executive seat on the council at the British Equestrian Federation, and I should know.
If anyone doubts my statements call me and I will tell them all about it 'With Facts'

Reiman.
