Congratulations to all of you who competed at the Reining UK Show today at Tantramar Stud. We were blessed with fantastic weather.

We started with a reining clinic on Saturday followed by the show on Sunday. (and in-between that, we descended en-masse on the village pub!) Then back to the mini Glastonbury Festival in the garden.

It was touch and go whether anything was going to happen with the weather we have had in the past week and up until Friday we still weren't sure if it would go ahead at all.

But it was lovely to have a show so late in the year. Great to meet up with people again. And also really good to see people who have never ever competed before having a go.

We are planning lots more in the early part of 2008.

Just like to say that as a novice to Western riding, the clinic and Show held on the week end was most enlightening and enjoyable,
I am positive that what I have learnt over the weekend will help me in the future, I must say that the people that attended were all both friendly and helpful, and as this was the first clinic and show for western reining that I have attended the impression left with me will certainly make it not my last.

Thanks to Cat and David for putting on the clinic and Reining UK show last weekend. It was good to catch up with old friends - seems ages since the last show- and meet some new ones.
A special thank you to David for his tireless judging on Sunday and his helpful comments and to everybody who helped out to make it a great week end. I look forward to the shows in 2008.
