Due to the closure of our own free website building service, a couple of users have since build very nice sites using the www.freewebs.com service.
Other users who can no longer access their westernshop accounts may want to give this service a go.

ok, but is there ANY chance that we can leave a note on our old websites linking to new??? You can still sign the guestbook and I have left a note on there in bold, but people dont really look there for information!

I am one of the people who have since set up a new website with freewebs.com.

You only need to ask Peter once you have done your work and prepared your site for some sort of publication and he will link it for you - so there is now no break in continuity.

There are various types of packages offerred but myself and Joanne from Roslin Stud opted for one we paid a pittance for and also gained a free new domain name which is useful should you wish to extend your coverage.

The site is extremely easy to work on (once you get the hang of it) and believe me -as Peter knows - I don't know the first thing about creating and operating websites.

If you do use them and have any problems with inputting contact me and I will see if I had (if I can).

My new website is still in the tweaking stage, but at least there is something to look at - e.g. news - new foals etc

Hi there everybody - we are just in the process of spending few hours trying to get one of these websites up and running for ourselves. How did you go about getting the domain name ours at the moment will be www.freewebs.com/MRMONTANA . We know nothing about doing websites but it looks quite simple although i may call on some of you for help and advice. Also how do you get your website listed on things like google for when people search etc?? Also how do i get links to things like westernshop on there? Can i get the logo that people click on off of you Peter? Thanks any help will be appreciated. Cheers

Hi again - well if anyone is listening i'm now stuck i've create my site name etc and got to the bit where you start to build the site - now there appears to be a problem - the template i've chosen won't load up in the page builder bit - i get the icons on the side for use in editing and uploading pictures etc but i the template just doesnt load up. Any ideas, anyone experience this problem? Thanks again.
