Sorry for the absence with this blog, I have had difficulty finding the time to update due to heavy work commitments.
Pee Wee has had an interesting few weeks, he developed a couple of nasty habits, head flicking and rearing. In order to go any furher forward, we had to go back to the basics and work on fixing these issues. Every time that he wants to go up we have to pull him round to the side and keep pushing forwards. There is still the urge for him to rear, but he is now getting the idea and with good timing we can stop him before it gets too dangerous.
His earlier problems with lead changes are now much better, we again took him right back to the basics and built a lead change from good departure practice and he is becoming more at ease with this.
We will be taking him to QH2000 to get some practice and will school him around.
