EAST COAST SUPERHORSE STANDINGS

Superhorse : Be In It To Win It!!

Following the first two East Coast Shows, Jonathan Vine-Hall's Ritzy Romance is currently heading the East Coast Superhorse Standings with Sandra Loder's Dee Reyner hot on their heels.

Points from all classes entered at the East Coast Shows (of which there are two more circuits – four shows) to be held in June and September count towards the Superhorse Award – an award sponsored by The Western Boots and Saddles Company, that is specifically for those horses that compete in many different classes and divisions and deserve recognition as “Superhorses”. With the points so close, and four more shows to go, the award is still very open and anything could happen. For full standings of the Superhorse Award and all other circuit awards visit the East Coast Website.

EAST COAST SHOWS INTRODUCE YOUTH QUALIFYING CIRCUIT AWARDS

The show management at the recent East Coast Quarter Horse Circuit were so impressed with the AQHA.UK Youth’s hard work over the winter months attending clinics, and their incredibly competitive qualifying classes that they have decided to donate a High Point Circuit Award to the Youth Competitor earning the most points in qualifying classes over the six East Coast Shows.

In addition the East Coast shows will be awarding a show High Point Award which will be presented to the youth who earns the most points in qualifying classes over each show.

These awards are calculated the same way as all other East Coast Circuit Awards where irrespective of class size, class winners get 10 points and other places one point less, for example, 2nd place gets 9 points, third place 8 points etc.  This in no way effect the AQHA.UK Youth Qualifying Standings which are calculated by a different method by the AQHA.UK Youth Team Council.

Updated Information: East Coast Superhorse Award sponsor, The Western Boot and Saddle Company have generously agreed to donate £500 to the AQHA.UK Youth Fund.

The next East Coast Circuit is held 22-24th June at Horse Creek Farm Arena in March.
