We would advise all mare owners of the protocol required for all our frozen semen is that all eight straws per dose must be used during insemination. Each insemination dose contains 600-1000 x 10 6 total sperm concentrated into the breeding dose. A minimum of 30% progressive motility is expected upon thawing. It is important to deposit the entire insemination dose into the uterus for optimum results. Please be advised that three doses are supplied per breeding and can only be used for the breeding season of purchase, as detailed in our contract.
All frozen semen should be supplied with instructions for handling and thawing of the frozen semen.
