(Kissit) - Amber Champagne Foundation AQHA filly.
Imported from Kentucky early 2006.
High foundation bred.(approx 91%) Her sire is Amber Champagne stud - JETSMOKE N THUNDER, by BOWS BLACK THUNDER, dam is palomino SKIPS GOLD FLASH.
Ancestry going back to the reliable names of LEO, WIMPY, KING, BLACKBURN AND POCO BUENO.
Kissit has the most startlingly green eyes which is one of the Champagne signs - absolutely superb temperament together with being a very beautiful girl.
Katie from Kentucky thankfully agreed to let her favourite baby to 'emigrate' to the UK and show what excellent breeders of the champagne colour together with high foundation the US can produce.

JOHNNYS MISTY BAY - 1996 BAY 94% FOUNDATION MARE
Tybay arrived 26th October 2006 from Kansas. A good old fashioned type Quarterhorse, not for the show ring, but old fashioned genetics abundant and evident - going back to the original roots of this wonderful breed.
Tybay's pedigree includes eleven stallions in the AQHA Hall of Fame. On her papers are GENERAL ROAN, whose great grandsires are KING (on both his sire and dam sides) and LITTLE WIMPY, son of WIMPY; DEAR JOHNNY, whose great grand sire are KING and POCO BUENO; BADGER BUCK II, a producer of AQHA Champions and performance and racing money earners; WILMETH'S CLEGG, a daughter of BILLY CLEGG, YUKON BUDDY, whose grand sire is LEO; and BLUE PIXIE, whose sire is the son of BERT, the #5 All-Time leading broodmare sire of AQHA Champions.
I am expecting great things from Tybay. She has had two exceptional foals from SLICK ROCK TOY (Roosters sire) and I hope to continue this trend and perpetuate Dunn Ranch's first class breeding program and legacy into the UK.
Tybay is not in foal for 2007, and will be introduced into the herd and probably be one of Rooster's first conquests in 2007 .
Her son has also been imported and will be trained in the world of polo and will probably stand at stud in future years to come. Well done Terry in acquiring a quality colt.
Her grulla daughter has also been imported and was sold the day after she arrived in Wales.
In foal to Rooster for a Summer 2008 foal.

Hobby - 1994 Sorrel mare.
Hobby arrived last year with a bay filly foal at foot for covering by Rooster. After arriving, her owner made the big decision to emigrate to Canada.
Her breeding is exemplary if not my usual preference, but Hobby has never put a foot wrong and has been a pure delight to look after. She is an excellent broodmare and has been ridden in the past.
Own daughter of the famous HOBBY DOC, son of HOBBY HORSE, also on her sires side DOC BAR. On her dam's sire is BILL CODY and SKIPPA SON.
Hobby is FOR SALE reluctantly, as I have to reduce numbers.
Open at present but will be covered by Rooster in Spring 2008.
£2950.00 ovno

SNIPPERS SPECIALITY (Maple) 11yr old sorrell mare, arrived weekend of 14th July 2007.
Maple represents all the good breeding associated with the reining, halter and performance fraternity. Foundation eligible, Maple introduces a different line from my usual one, but one which will compliment the quality Rooster is producing on his existing mares.
This is a very exciting match and am looking forward to some superb dun foals from her.
Her sire is SNIPPERS HEIROGANCE, proven Halter and Performance Stallion, well known in the UK, and she is out of ROSABOB SPECIALITY from a very successful line of Halter and Performance bred Quarter Horses. Full Pedigree below. She shares one of Belle's ancestors in DODGERS PLAYBOY. Other well known names on her pedigree include JOE REED, PETER MCCUE, THREE BARS and the immortal KING.
Maple has been running with Rooster since Summer last year, she has had some issues in the past about live cover, due to a bad experience but have left her with him so he can work his gentlemanly magic on her, although the best of friends she is yet to be tested if she is in foal for 2008, if not she will be AI'd when Rooster goes to Twemlows later this year.
LATEST*** It looks like Maple may be in foal, but I have left her running with Rooster and not interfered by scanning etc, not making a big issue of it with her as she does have some hang-ups that have occurred many years ago which she needs to shed - she is coming round lovely and is the most loving mare, very approachable, but history tells her to put her ears back and test you. Hasn't put a foot wrong since she been here.
In foal hopefully for Summer 2008
